Warrington Pet Farewells, individual and private pet cremation

Individual dog cremation in Warrington

Dogs don't just live in the house, they're woven into the daily routine, which is exactly why their absence is felt so quickly. I handle every dog collection in Warrington myself, from your doorstep or your vet's, and I don't hand that responsibility to anyone else.

  • Individual cremation only, your dog is never cremated alongside another animal
  • From £190, depending on size. I'll give you an exact quote when you call
  • A scatter tube is included as standard
  • Free collection from home or vet across Warrington and the surrounding area

How I look after your dog

Size-appropriate, dignified care

From the tiniest terrier to the largest Great Dane, every dog is cremated individually, with equipment suited to their size. No communal cremations, ever.

Collection, or bring them to me

I'll collect your dog from your Warrington home or receive them from your vet, whichever feels right for you. You're also welcome to bring them to me directly, if that's easier.

Ashes returned within 72 hours

Your dog's ashes come home in a scatter tube as standard, or you can choose from wooden caskets, urns and photo-frame urns from my memorial collection.

Cared for end to end

Your dog is collected from your Warrington home and taken to my purpose-built crematorium in Southport. From your door to the crematorium and back, they're always in my care.

What families say

Alan has looked after families under the Southport Pet Farewells name for years, and the service here is the same one, run by the same person.

Having to make the decision to let your pet go is truly heartbreaking but Alan at Pet Farewells helped to ease our sadness. Alan took care of everything. He collected Tilly from the vets and took her to a beautiful farewell room where we could go and say our last goodbyes to Tilly. Alan has a very calming manner and made us feel confident that Tilly was being looked after with dignity and by someone who really cared.

Common questions

Anything else about dogs, just call me and ask.

Will I definitely get my dog's ashes back?
Yes. I operate individual cremation only. Your dog is cremated alone, with a traceable identification system from collection to return, and I check that ID at every stage.
What if my dog dies at home overnight?
Call me any time, day or night. I'll talk you through keeping your dog comfortable until I can collect them, which is usually within a few hours.
Do you cremate all breeds?
Every breed, every age, from puppies to senior dogs who've lived long, full lives. Each one matters equally. There is a weight limit though. If your dog is over 45kg, call me and I'll give you a quote.
Can I choose a casket or urn instead of a scatter tube?
Absolutely. The scatter tube is simply the standard option included with every cremation. If you'd prefer something more permanent there are wooden caskets, ceramic urns, photo urns and keepsake jewellery. Ask when you call and I'll talk you through them, with no pressure either way.
Can my dog be cremated with their favourite blanket or toy?
Blankets, bedding and soft fabric items can absolutely stay with your dog, and many owners find comfort in that. Soft toys without metal are usually fine, but anything with metal bells or batteries can't go in, and neither can rubber or hard plastic. If you're unsure, ask me and I'll check. If something can't be cremated I'll return it with your dog's ashes so nothing precious goes missing.
