When you choose individual cremation, your pet is cremated completely alone, from start to finish, with nothing and no one else in the chamber. It's the only kind of cremation I offer. There's no cheaper communal option to opt out of, because I don't do communal cremations at all.

What individual cremation actually means

  • Your pet is identified and tracked by name at every stage, from collection to return

    Within 72 hours, I'll personally return your pet's ashes to you together with their personalised Remembrance Box.

Common questions

What is the difference between individual and communal cremation?
In an individual cremation your pet is cremated entirely on their own, and the ashes returned to you are only theirs. In a communal cremation several pets are cremated together and no ashes come back. I only offer individual cremation, so there is no cheaper communal option here to opt out of.
How do I know the ashes are really my pet's?
Your pet is given an identification that travels with them, and I check it at collection, before the cremation, after the cremation and again when I hand their ashes back. The chamber is cleared and cleaned around every cremation. You are also welcome to ask me anything about the process, or to bring your pet to me yourself.
Can I be there, or say goodbye first?
Yes, by arrangement. Some families find it helps to bring their pet themselves and spend a few quiet minutes first. Call me and we will sort out a time that works.
How long does the whole thing take?
From the moment your pet comes into my care, their ashes are back with you within 72 hours. If you need it faster, ask me about same-day cremation.
