What families say

Alan has looked after families under the Southport Pet Farewells name for years, and the service here is the same one, run by the same person.

Having to make the decision to let your pet go is truly heartbreaking but Alan at Pet Farewells helped to ease our sadness. Alan took care of everything. He collected Tilly from the vets and took her to a beautiful farewell room where we could go and say our last goodbyes to Tilly. Alan has a very calming manner and made us feel confident that Tilly was being looked after with dignity and by someone who really cared.

What you'll pay, with no surprises later

Collection and the return of their ashes are included in every price. There are no hidden extras and nothing is added afterwards.

A little something to remember them by

Every individual cremation includes a personalised Remembrance Box, prepared especially for your pet. Inside are small keepsakes to help you remember them.

  • Personalised engraved wooden heart
  • Vial of fur clippings (optional)
  • Ash keepsake vial (optional)
  • Glass vial of whiskers (where possible)
  • Paw print and nose print (where possible)
  • Pocket Hug keepsake

Additional Remembrance Boxes are £12.50 each, for when more than one person would like their own keepsake to hold on to.

If your pet is nearing the end of their life

You may not be at the point of arranging a cremation yet. If your pet is struggling and you are trying to work out what is kindest, I work closely with Bee, a local vet who can come to your home so they can pass peacefully somewhere familiar, without a car journey or a waiting room.

There is no obligation to use me for anything afterwards. Call me and I will point you in the right direction either way.

Areas I cover

I provide individual pet cremation and free collection across Warrington and the surrounding areas.

Not sure if I cover your area? Call or text me and I'll let you know. If you are a little outside it, I will usually still be able to help.

Common questions

If what you want to ask isn't here, just call me. No question is a daft one.

What does individual cremation actually mean?
Your pet is cremated on their own, and the ashes you receive back are only theirs. Nothing is mixed with another pet at any stage. That is the whole point of what I do, and I am happy to talk you through exactly how it works.
How quickly will I get their ashes back?
Within 72 hours, and I bring them to you personally rather than posting them. If you need it done sooner, ask me about same-day cremation.
Do you collect, and does it cost extra?
I collect from your home or your veterinary practice, and collection is included in the price. There is no separate charge and no mileage fee within the areas I cover.
My pet is still with me but nearing the end. Can you help?
Yes. I work with Bee, a local vet who can come to your home so your pet can pass peacefully in a place they know. There is more on the at-home euthanasia page, or just call me and we will talk it through.
What if I am just outside the areas you list?
Call me anyway. The areas listed are the ones I cover routinely, but I will usually still be able to help if you are a little further out.
Can I visit, or bring my pet to you myself?
Yes, by arrangement. Some people find it helps to bring their pet themselves. Just call first so I can make sure I am there to meet you.
