Same-Day Pet Collection in Warrington: What to Expect
When a pet passes, waiting days for someone to even collect them can make an already unbearable day feel worse. If you're in Warrington, Stockton Heath, Great Sankey, Culcheth or nearby, same-day collection is available in most cases — here's exactly what happens, from that first phone call to your pet's ashes coming home.

Because they’re more than just Pets….
What Same-Day Collection Means
If your pet has just passed, in most cases I can come and collect them from you on the same day you call, rather than you having to wait. For many owners, that speed matters enormously — having your pet stay at home, or at the vet, for days after they've passed can be distressing. Same-day collection means that part of the wait is taken off your hands quickly.
Then, a 72-Hour Return
Once your pet has been collected, they're cremated individually — never alongside another animal, at any point — and their ashes are returned to you within 72 hours, along with a scatter tube and, where applicable, paw and nose prints.
That 72-hour window is deliberate. It's enough time to make sure everything is handled properly and with care, without dragging out the wait longer than it needs to be. I know that waiting is often the hardest part, so I keep it as short as I responsibly can.
How It Works, Step By Step
- Call — as soon as you're ready, whatever time that is. You'll speak to me personally, not a message service.
- We talk it through — no script, no pressure. I'll ask what's happened and talk you through what happens next.
- I come to you — home or vet, whichever's easier, usually that same day.
- Individual cremation, always — your pet is cremated alone, identified by name throughout.
- I bring them home — within 72 hours, personally, to your door.
Common Questions About Same-Day Collection
"Is same-day collection guaranteed?" In most cases, yes — but it depends on timing and location. Call as early as you can, and I'll tell you honestly what's possible.
"Does same-day collection cost more?" No. It's simply how the standard service works — there's no extra charge for prompt collection.
"What if it's late at night or a weekend?" Call anyway. I'm available seven days a week, and I'd rather you call than sit with the uncertainty overnight.
"My pet passed at the vet's — can you still collect the same day?" Yes. Collection can happen from your home or directly from your vet, whichever is easier for you.
"Is there a faster option than 72 hours?" For owners who need everything completed within a single day — collection, cremation and ashes returned all in one visit — that's available as a separate service. It's worth asking about when you call if timing is critical for you, though most owners find the standard 72-hour return gives enough time without an unnecessary wait.
You Don't Have to Wait, and You Don't Have to Wonder
If your pet has just passed, you don't need to have everything figured out before you call. Just call, and we'll take it from there together.
