Common Questions About Pet Cremation, Answered

When you're facing this for the first time, it's natural to have questions — and not always know who to ask. If you're in Warrington, Stockton Heath, Great Sankey, Culcheth or nearby, here are honest answers to the questions I'm asked most often.

Is My Pet Cremated With Other Animals?

No. Every cremation I carry out is individual, every time. Your pet is never cremated alongside another animal, at any point in the process — what comes home to you is entirely theirs.

How Long Will It Take to Get My Pet's Ashes Back?

With my standard service, ashes are returned within 72 hours of collection. Collection itself can usually happen the same day you call.

Do You Collect From My Home or the Vet?

Both. I collect free of charge from wherever is easiest for you — your home or your vet's practice.

Who Actually Carries This Out?

Me, personally, from start to finish. Whoever answers the phone is whoever collects your pet, and whoever brings them home again. There's no call centre, no rota, and no van of strangers involved at any stage.

What Do I Get Back, Exactly?

Your pet's ashes, presented in a scatter tube, along with paw and nose prints where applicable. There's nothing else added afterwards — the price you're quoted is the price you pay.

Is This Properly Licensed?

Yes. Everything is carried out under full APHA and DEFRA licensing, with identification checks built into every stage, so you can trust that what comes home to you is entirely your pet's own.

How Much Does It Cost?

Pricing depends on your pet's size, and is always upfront with no hidden extras. I'm happy to give you an exact quote over the phone.

What If My Pet Passed Somewhere Other Than Home?

That's fine — I can collect from your vet directly, or wherever your pet currently is.

Can I Call Any Time?

Yes. I'm available seven days a week, and you'll always speak to me personally, not an answering service.

What If I'm Not Ready to Decide Yet?

That's completely okay. You don't have to make every decision on the first call. Ask whatever you need to, and take the time you need.

Do You Offer Communal Cremation?

No — I only offer individual cremation. It's a genuine, valid choice for many owners, but it's simply not part of how I work. If communal cremation is what you're looking for, it's worth asking your vet who else in the area offers it.

Still Have a Question?

If there's something here that hasn't answered what you need to know, just call. There's no such thing as a silly question at a time like this.

If you're in Warrington, Stockton Heath, Great Sankey, Culcheth, Birchwood, Penketh, Padgate, Grappenhall, Appleton, Lowton, Newton le Willows or nearby, call 01925 911850. You'll speak to me personally, whatever your question.
